Hayes, on earning a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Howard University on May 9, 2026.Dr. Jennifer M. Hayes, Ph.D., Esq., successfully defended her dissertation, “Evaluating Large Language Models (LLMs) for Markush Claim Interpretation in Pharmaceutical Patents: A Structure-Aware Framework for Extraction and Complexity Analysis,” advancing important interdisciplinary research at the intersection of artificial intelligence, medicinal chemistry, and pharmaceutical patent law. This significant milestone serves as an inspiration to our entire foundation and the scholars we support motivating us all to KEEP GOING. Thank you for leading by example!
